This Summer has seen PDMS busier than ever at the local Summer Shows. We have been in attendance at The Fair on the Yare, The South Norfolk Show, The Lord Mayor’s Procession and Poringland Village Fete! Here are a selection of photos from those events.

Following a request from local councillor, John Overton a small working party from PDMS cleared the drainage ditch of rubbish.
July-Making a start
We have now moved everything to The Barn behind The Dove and begun to create a workshop area.
Saturday 8th July saw the last of a trio of Summer Fetes that our shedders have supported- this time at Poringland Village Fete.
Karl and Bird Table
Karl puts the finishing touches to a bird table which had been brought to The Shed by a local householder. Another example of the Repair and Recycle scheme saving unnecessary products going to landfill.
From Forge to Barn
June saw us vacate The Forge and move to The Barn
Fair on the Yare-Claxton
Sunday June 4th saw PDMS pitch up with Birdbox kits and the now infamous Bucket Ball challenge at The Fair on the Yare Summer Fete. A bright sunny day brought out the crowds in this beautiful setting and £70 was raised. That should keep our Treasurer, Roy happy!
The Litter Pickers return
For the third year running PDMS supported South Norfolk’s Spring Clean campaign. Five shedders turned up to litter pick some of Poringland’s recreational areas.

Following building control permission to install a trench drainage system work has begun to dig the trenches. We opted to dig by hand due to the power cables that lie below! Dave won the hat competition again! Will it be three in a row for the hat-trick
